Chris Lindsey NUTC PhD Candidate, Selected to Attend 2011 Eno Leadership Development Conference

Chris Lindsay, NUTC PhD Candidate, has been selected by the Eno Transportation Foundation's Board of Regents to participate in its 19th annual Eno Leadership Development Conference in Washington, DC, which was held June 6th - 10th. This distinguished conference provides a first-hand look at how transportation policy is developed and implemented. Recipients meet with top government officials, leaders of associations, and members of Congress and their staff. Recipients also have the opportunity to see how the nation's transportation policies are debated, shaped, formed, and ultimately adopted and applied.

Chris Lindsay is a second year transportation PhD student studying under Professor Hani Mahmassani in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Lindsay's research interests include freight transportation, safety, and transportation policy. Before coming to NUTC, Lindsay worked as a transportation engineer at the Georgia Department of Transportation. NUTC congratulates him on receiving this prestigious award!
