Transportation Clubs International Scholarships

Transportation Clubs International awards scholarships to students enrolled in accredited institutions of higher learning in a vocational or degree program in the fields of Transportation Logistics or Traffic Management.

The basis used to award these scholarships are: scholastic ability, potential, professional interest, character and financial need.

How TCI scholarships are funded...

TCI scholarships are funded through the generosity of individual contributors dedicated to the future of the transportation industry and by the following scholarship benefactors:

Hooper Memorial Scholarship - $1500 TCI's first scholarship, awarded in memory of the founder of the first Women's Transportation Club in the U.S. (Los Angeles, CA).

Charlotte Woods Memorial Scholarship - $1000 Awarded in memory of a former TCI director responsible for the genisis of "National Transportation Week". Student must be a TCI member or a dependent of a member.

Texas Transportation Scholarship - $1000 Awarded in memory of Gene Landis of Houston, Texas, to a student who has been enrolled in a school in Texas during some phase of their education (elementary, secondary, or high school).

Ginger & Fred Deines Mexico Scholarships - $1500 Awarded in memory of Ginger and Fred Deines, to a student of Mexican nationality and enrolled in a school in Mexico or the U.S. Mr. Deines is a past President of Transportation Clubs International.

Ginger & Fred Deines Canada Scholarships - $1500 Awarded in memory of Ginger and Fred Deines, to a student of Canadian nationality and enrolled in a school in Canada or the U.S.

Denny Lydic Scholarship - $500 Awarded in appreciation and recognition for his dedication to the field of transportation. He is a past President of TCI and continues to be very active and supportive.

Alice Glaisyer Warfield Scholarship - $1000 Awarded in appreciation and memory for her dedication to TCI. She is a past President and Scholarship Trustee.

Eligibility

Any student enrolled in an educational program in an accredited institution of higher learning in a vocational or degree program in the fields of Transportation, Logistics or Traffic Management, or related fields, who intends to prepare for a career in these areas is eligible to apply for a TCI scholarship.
