This individual will assist in project inspections, perform specific duties of a broader assignment including but not limited to adjusting and correlating data; assist with surveys and tests; review and analyze project schedules; conduct field visits to examine construction procedures, conditions and issues, and provide oversight for the development and construction of transportation infrastructure projects.
The minimum requirements are; a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Construction Management, and EIT certification. You must have excellent communication skills. Familiarity with IDOT, CDOT, and ISTHA documentation is a plus. Entry level applicants with applicable internships or 2 years transportation related experience will be considered.

This individual will assist the Project Engineer/Project Manager with plan design and production. Perform assignments using prescribed methods requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria and will follow operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes. Will organize and maintain project files and complete other assignments as needed. Will perform calculations and analysis using engineering formulas; adjust and correlate data, research code issues, design options and document findings for Project Engineers.
The minimum requirements are; a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and EIT certification. A working knowledge of MicroStation and/or Geopak and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with IDOT, CDOT, and ISTHA standards relating to the design of civil/roadway design projects is a plus. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
Applicants with 4 years transportation related experience and entry level applicants with EIT certification and applicable internships will be considered.
Experienced Transportation Engineer 2088 IL

The Transportation Engineer will perform analysis of traffic operations; impact studies; and intersection design studies with the use of traffic simulation models and field observations. This individual will design signal, signing and markings plans, prepare highway layout and design plans and profiles; compute horizontal and vertical geometry; assist in the management & coordination of Phase I and Phase II projects; set-up design tasks for staff engineers; create analysis and/or design reports or documentation; write project correspondence, complete other related assignments as needed, and mentor staff engineers.
This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, a P.E. license and 10-15 years experience in the Geometric design of intersections, traffic signals and operations, MOT and traffic control devices.
Must be proficient in Microstation and GeoPak, and have a clear understanding of IDOT, CDOT and ISTHA procedures and standards. Excellent writing skills are necessary for preparation of project correspondence.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
Experienced Resident Engineer 1848 IL

This individual will manage the construction engineering review and
inspection of transportation projects; supervise the inspection team
on daily inspection tasks;
prepare correspondence for the Project Manager and the client; perform
review of contractor’s submittals; serve as a site liaison on
construction issues and provide regular written progress and special
issues reports to the Project Manager as requested.
This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, and
an Illinois P.E. license and must have 10 or more years experience working
on transportation projects with a minimum value of $15 million.
This individual must have previous Resident Engineer experience with
oversight of 8 or more staff and sub-consultants. Complete knowledge
of CDOT, IDOT and ISTHA policies and standards is essential. The successful
candidate must have the experience and ability to effectively deal with
clients and contractors to resolve project issues.
