The Position
The Vice President Procurement will be responsible for the thought leadership and strategic sourcing direction for the Corporate Strategic Sourcing Group. Commodities purchased include advertising, print, marketing, logistics, Human Resources, financial & insurance services with a total spend in excess of several billion dollars. Further, the VP Procurement is charged with leading and building the effective and efficient execution of commodity plans through a highly consultative approach.
This is a highly visible, leadership role offering rapid career progression to the successful candidate.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of procurement, sourcing, market analysis, cost analysis, contract negotiation and supplier performance service level agreements/performance metrics.
A successful career track in Best-In-Class consumer services, industrial products or consulting organizations.
A consultancy mindset; able to think conceptually and “outside” current processes and techniques.
Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
An undergraduate degree in supply chain management or logistics desirable coupled with an MBA from top-tier schools.
