Description:
The position has emphasis in 3 areas: The greatest emphasis is in the construction of National Account generated Requests For Pricing (RFP's). This requires expertise in Excel, International HHG Forwarding, and International HHG Pricing. The position also requires expertise in Access to help develop the pricing strategy required for each specific bid. Once the business is won the RFP Coordinator needs to communicate the vendor costs, and the billing prices, terms and strategy to Operations in order for them to effectively carry out the transportation and return the required level of forwarding margin. The RFP Coordinator will be responsible for margin improvement on our current high volume national accounts. This requires the same analytical skill set as completing RFP's. The position requires the ability to working independently and to handle a high volume of work.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree preferred
- Extensive Excel Access Skills
- Strong Analytical Skills
- 2-3 years experience in International Household Goods Operations
- 1-2 Years of International HHG rate quoting experience.
