Manager, Client Services - The SearchLogix Group
Responsibilities:
The Client Services Manager has a dual role of directly managing the
Client Services function and driving process improvement projects. As
the leader of Client Services, the candidate will direct a team of US
based associates and be responsible for all order management activities.
Also, the individual will lead specific process improvement and system
implementation projects to drive bottom line impact.
Essential Duties:
• Support company-wide goal of no injuries or health impairment
and full environmental and supply chain compliance.
• Recruit, train, and retain team of 15+ Client Services associates
• Drive positive interaction between commercial leadership and
team members
• Establish solid relationships with external customers by exceeding
customer requirements
• Lead by example using effective customer service techniques.
• Understand all steps of the order management process pertaining
to the explosives industry
• Benchmark current capability against supply chain best practices
• Improve data integrity and utilization of order management systems
• Drive process optimization projects focusing on productivity
improvements with bottom line impact working closely with client services
in Canada
• Customer Satisfaction as measured by qualitative reviews of
both external and internal customers
• Order to Invoice Cycle Time
• Annual Productivity Improvements
Education/Qualifications:
• BS/BA degrees or equivalent; MBA preferred but not required
• Experience with Hazardous Materials
• 7-10 years of relevant customer service/supply chain experience
and/or equivalent education
• Knowledge of supply chain technologies including ERP, data warehouse,
planning, and transportation management systems
• SAP experience preferred but not required
• Analytical, understanding of technical and financial data including
the use of metrics to demonstrate performance
• Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
• Understanding of basic project management techniques
• Six Sigma training is preferred but not required
• Self motivated with demonstrated execution competency
• High integrity
• Willingness to travel (potentially up to 40%) within United
States and Canada
Salary: $60-65k base PLUS! Excellent comprehensive
