Alliance Manager - The SearchLogix Group
This highly visible position is responsible for identifying, acquiring and executing with strategic partners to contribute to the achievement of the company’s revenue goals. Candidates for this position must have a proven track record of directly impacting revenue by selling enterprise software through and with partners. This role requires a high degree of interaction with all areas of the company and will be required to develop programs that foster marketing and sales traction through OEM, SI, ISV and 3PL partners. This position, will report directly to the EVP of Marketing and Alliances and work closely with all members of the sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:Key roles for this position will include:
- Leveraging existing partner relationships to gain access to new business opportunities, accelerate sales cycles and increase revenue.
- Establishing and maintain senior level relationships with existing partners.
- Developing and executing tactical go-to-market plans with existing partners.
- Working in conjunction with key partners and the Company’s sales team to build and manage a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
- Ensuring readiness of partners to articulate Company’s value proposition and close business.
- Working with product marketing to identify and close key technology (ISV) partnerships.
- Prospect, qualify and close new partner relationships as needed.
Education/Qualifications:Ideal candidates for this position will be highly motivated; revenue driven and results oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Minimum 7-10 years in enterprise software sales, partner management and marketing
- Past experience in a position with direct responsibility for generating revenue through strategic relationships with SI, OEM and ISV partners.
- Proven track record of selling enterprise software through indirect channels and strategic partnerships.
- Experience developing and executing tactical execution plans and go-to-market plans designed to ensure maximum return on partnership investments.
- Proven ability to leverage SI and ISV partners to generate qualified sales leads, accelerate sales cycles and increase revenue through partners.
- Experience working with large systems integrators (IBM, CGEY, Accenture, Bearing Point, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of value-based selling.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal marketing, sales, implementation, and product development teams.
- Strong verbal, listening, written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience negotiating and closing large, complex OEM and reseller agreements.
- Experience using sales force automation systems to manage and track partner related revenue opportunities.
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced, dynamic business environment.
- Experience negotiating a variety of contracts to include reseller, teaming, cooperative marketing and OEM.
