Job Description:
Our client, a very successful consumer products company, is looking for a strong leader for its distribution and light manufacturing site in an attractive southern suburb of Chicago. This site of nearly 200,000 square feet employs approximately 200 people on two shifts who are processing and shipping orders to retailers of all sizes across North America. The business has been growing very steadily over the past ten years, and expects another growth surge this year and next. The Site General Manager will lead the site team in meeting its current commitments, as well as preparing the site for future growth.
Requirements:
We are seeking a supply chain leader who has successful experience with modern logistics models and strategies as well as accomplishments in operational excellence. Or the person to be successful, he or she will need at least 5 years of supply chain experience and possess excellent people skills. We are targeting a candidate who is promotable and scalable, as we expect significant sales growth to take place with this company and specifically at the distribution center site. MBA required.
