Summer School on Advanced Purchasing Research
The 12th Annual Summer School on Advanced Purchasing Research will be held in Salzburg, Austria from July 7th through July 12th, 2006. Although the title of the school says "Purchasing," students in all areas of Supply Chain Management (purchasing, logistics, operations, etc) are welcomed at the school.
The summer school is an excellent opportunity for doctoral students to meet their contemporaries from other countries, to start a network of international contacts, to obtain useful feedback on a research paper, and to hear interesting presentations from purchasing faculty and professionals from Europe and the U.S. The week in Salzburg is a rewarding experience for faculty and students.
The Institute for Supply Management will provide $2,000 support to each of two students, which will cover most of the costs. Scholarships are available to students of U.S. schools only.
